Uptill now the job of a waiter was not considered to be a respectable in India, Lately, the environmental thoughts are changing, you will now find waitresses in 5 star & 4 star hotels. Even ladies have started working as gas station attendents. I belive that in another 1-2 years this will change and you shall find lot of waitresses in India as well.
