I think if you invest in blue chip,you can expect 6-9% annual return for the next 10 years, while it's possible to evaluate the risk/reward of starting a business. Certainly the reward will be higher if you succeed, the risk is bigger as well. But if you have some good idea or connections, it's worth a try.
