Fluent spoken English is must.
Required Skills: Java, J2EE, Struts, hibernate, springs, web services, Design Patterns. Design using UML. Analytics skills, Good written and verbal communications.
Responsibility:
1. Analyze business requirements and provide high level business solution. This requires in-depth knowledge on CRM domain, Grid management Tool (GDM), System and Technology group brands (STG), Price Calc Tool for System-X brand, Accelerator solutions for System X (XCC) , Worldwide Price Release Tool (WWPRT), Pricing Analysis Tool (i-PAT), Business Partner Price Calculator Tool (BPPC).
2. Estimate business requirements and provide sizing using ePricer Sizing Tool (EST). This requires in-depth knowledge in Wideband Delphi Technique, Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT).
3. Translate business solution into technical solution in external design documents (EDD). This requires in-depth knowledge in Web sphere business modeler (WBM), ePricer Process Architecture, ePricer Service Broker Architecture, S&D Delegation module, ePricer Spread methodology, ePricer approval work flow, ePricer price collection tool, Worldwide Price Release Tool (WWPRT), ePricer reference data setting tool (ePricer Setting module), ePricer MVS process, ePricer Information Warehouse (IW) tool.
4. Translate external design into low level design for new business requirements. This requires in-depth knowledge in ePricer Process Framework, ePricer Cross Module Service framework, ePricer Service Broker Framework, ePricer analyst guide, ePricer Business Access Process (BAP) framework, MQ Series, Relational Database ( DB2), Rational Software Architect (RSA) tool, Rational Data Architect Tool (RDA), ePricer Web Service Framework, Websphere Application Server V7, Http Server (IHS), Web Identity (WI).
5. Produce performance metrics reports that included graphs of CPU percentage and response times for new development. This requires in-depth knowledge on Performance Monitoring Infrastructure (PMI), Rational Performance Testing (RPT).
6. Proactive monitoring of multiple application servers. This requires checking all the performance parameters on servers. As these servers run on UNIX platform, an expertise in Unix (AIX) is required .Tool called Putty is being used for this activity.
7. Analyzing impact of changes happening on other related systems & taking appropriate action for the same. In-depth knowledge of external Interfaces and their communication architecture is required.
8. Review work-products wiz code, documents during development phases by following OPAL guidelines.
9. Gather and submit Metrics Analysis data sheets as part of organizational quality activities by following OPAL guidelines.
Resolve any database related issues for DB2, SCLM Tool Activities, and MQ-Series middleware platform in-case of failure.
