上海的锦昌文华 was not a part of Mandarin Oriental family. It used to be 沧州饭店，belonged to the army. In 1980s the three parties, the army, Bank of China, and a Singapore company, formed the new hotel. I used to have an "office" booked on the top floor. Several years ago it had a major rennovation and raised the price dramatically. I checked out ever since. I don't know who is the real owner now.
