In my opinion, the African way has not worked.

Here the African Americans have protested, rallied, cried, screamed, petitioned, and published almost every detail about the pain of being black.

While the Chinese, the Koreans, the Indians, and the Japanese quietly worked without much noise.

Yet, the results are quiet clear today. Complaints are just complaints. Nothing more. They don't change a lot of things. Work, on the other hand, changes everything.
