I was flipping the channel, Li Ao popped up. He used a joke to illustrate the dilemma the Nationalist party faces in Taiwan. While I could not remember exactly what is his intended purpose of the joke. I do remember the joke vividly. So here we go.
A truck driver was driving a container truck coming down from a hill. At the foot of the hill, there laid a young man and a young woman who were making out. In an act of urgency, the truck driver sent out a horn and tried to warn the two to get of the way. The two completely ignored and kept on going. Finally, the truck driver pulled the brake and the truck halted in a few inches away from the duo.
The truck driver became furios and rushed, and yelled at the two, "Are you crazy?"
The man raised up, and responded, "You know what, buddy. I am coming, she is coming. and you are coming. BUt you are the only one who has a brake."
