Can we people of Chinese ethnic origin do this?

About twenty years ago Japanese products entered the U.S. market in a big way. From cars to copy machines to electronics. Being a manufacturing oriented country, Japanese companies are notoriously weak on marketing. Their sales people were looked down by engineers. How did they become so successful in all over the world? Very simple, make quality products that people will WANT to buy.
I love my Lexus SUV. I think of her from time to time. I could stand in my garage and look at her huggable body for minutes. I miss her while I'm on business trips; I miss listening to my music cds in the car. Driving is no longer a chore, I will want to find places to go to just so that I can be in the car. For the first time in my life, I pay attention to auto news and magazines
whenever/wherever Lexus is mentioned. I even searched Lexus video on YouTube.com.
Toyota does not have to SELL me a Lexus. I want it.
Let's all ask ourselves. What are the things in our everyday life that we LOVE
them so much, we will want to buy them. These are not your everyday neccessity like toothpate. LOVE is a strong word of emotion.
This should be the goal of all chinese companies who are in the business of
making things.
P.S. PLEASE refrain from turning this discussion into a racial/nationalistic
rhetoric.
