Product Marketing Manager

Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations

The successful candidate will be responsible for the profitable growth of the 8bit Microcontroller business in Asia.

* Managing a team of Product Marketers with responsibility for product launches, campaigns and New Product Definition.
* Working closely with Go To Market team to drive demand creation efforts in the region.
* Be responsible for the low touch strategy and implementation.
* Spending to allocated SG&A budget.
* Responsible for key indices including revenue, GM and SG&A budget.
* Bring to global 8bit team Market Requirement Documents and Product Requirement Documents.
* Pricing authority within Asia, with associated profitability goals.
* Marketing Plans for Asia.
* Liasing with Systems and Applications to create compelling technical content.
* Liasing with Channel and Geo sales teams to influence network strategy.
* Taking Asian initiatives and driving global adoption.
* Developing a compelling, detailed business plan for the region to include key financial metrics such as revenue, NPV & GM over a 5 year period.

Specific Knowledge/Skills

The successful candidate will have:

* A scientific/electronic undergraduate degree
* An MBa is preferred
* Experience in Product Marketing
* Experience in the Management
* Experience in Market Development
* Outstanding communication skills
* Ability to comfortably deal with many levels within an organization
* Fluent in English, 2nd language is preferred
* Possess behaviors including urgency, curiosity, a desire for success (personal and professional), a strong work ethic, ambitions for future people management, tenacity, enthusiasm and a positive outlook.
