Job Summary

This person will be responsible for:

l Identifying and transitioning finance processes currently being performed in various countries to the in Dalian, China.
l Providing operational support to the Finance lead in Dalian, including implementation of various finance initiatives and projects

Associated Key Tasks
Transition
- Team with the Global Service Centre Organization (GSCO) team and GU controllers and to identify possible opportunities for transition into the service centre.
- Arrange and facilitate meetings/calls with country controllers and other finance leads to obtain their buy-in to move finance roles into the APSSC.
- Prepare and present Business Cases as to the cost savings and merits of moving identified processes into the .
- Obtain all necessary approvals required for a movement of headcount, from the GSCO Director, in-country controllers and GU controllers / Finance Operations and Process leads.
- Coordinate the preparation of process flows required for each finance process to be moved.
- Coordinate the tailoring of country specific process flows, procedures and training manuals in order for the to perform that finance function.
- Coordinate and enable any other training and training tools required for the to perform a finance function.
- Develop a Transition Knowledge Exchange Repository to house all documents used in finance transitions, in order for other teams to utilise.
- Provide status updates via written communications or calls with the GSCO team and / or in-country finance leads during transitions.
- Be responsible for maintaining the Transition plan.

Operations
- Assisting with Joint Review Board (JRB) meeting preparations and Monthly Meeting reviews,
- Recruiting, staffing/ teaming arrangements and scheduling,
- Coordinating infrastructure requirements with HR, F&S and CIO
- Assisting with Salary Reviews
- Drive on-going continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with the GSCO for any GSCO initiated improvements.
- SARBOX implementation responsibility
- Anything else of an operational nature as delegated by the Finance Lead

Relationships
Reports to: Finance Lead.

Supervises: The I&O lead will be required to supervise personnel on a project by project basis. He/she will need to “borrow” time from existing finance resources, global and GU personnel as the need arises. This will ensure the right functional experience and skill sets are available to perform the detailed transitions and provide training to new personnel.

Internal Relationships: Director, GSCO Managing Director and Operations Director, GU Controllership, Country Controllership, APAC Geographic Services leadership, CFM Leadership, Fin Ops Leadership, Finance Process Excellence Leads, CIO, F&S, HR Recruiting.

External Relationships: None
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong organizational skills, with ability to manage implementation projects within tight time constraints
- Exceptional English verbal/written communication skills
- Strong business process acumen, including demonstrated ability to foster strong partnerships with internal and external customers
- Strong knowledge of SAP & other technologies used by Accenture
- Exceptional Finance and Accounting acumen; US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley knowledge
- Excellent negotiation and dispute resolution skills; ability to interact with multiple levels of organizational personnel
- Demonstrated leadership ability to inspire people and obtain results through others;
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Informed of current trends and best practices for finance and accounting service centers
- Good knowledge of general IT/computing applications

Qualifications
Education:
Commerce / Business / Accounting Bachelor’s Degree
Professional qualification, i.e. CPA or equivalent
Work: Must have 8 to 10 years of experience, with some of that in a supervisory role
Experience:
Must have strong accounting background and Project Management/Implementation experience
