BD Director
Department: Business Development
Location: Shanghai
Reports To: COO
Roles and Responsibilities:
-Establish leads with key target automotive customers in China
-Manage, grow, and train business development team, both Chinese local or foreigners
-Liaise with XXX counterpart leader in managing the team
-Liaise with XXX corporate and XXX divisions - e.g., marketing, legal, operations, commercial, finance
-Develop plans, budget and strategy for the business development team
Essential Skills
-Strong network - relationship within China key automotive companies
-Respected by local and multinational leaders of customer organizations (OEMs, and tier 1 suppliers)
-Good track record in business development in China
-Fluent and writing skill in English and mandarin
-More than 15 years experience, in logistics and business development combined
-Experienced in managing a large, multinational team
-A team player
-Practical / operations experience preferred
Education and Experience:
-Engineering preferred
