Description
The applicant will have the chance to work with cross-functional teams (Dev, QA, Operations and Support) to define and implement the way of Architectural the goals, as well as having the opportunity to get involved in hands-on Architecture setup and configuration.
Responsibilities:
Designing and documenting Architectural Direction of the Strategic Instrument and Quote Master system, and how we migrate users away from the Legacy Systems to the target architecture. Taking into account Company the Symbology Architect will be responsible for the overall architecture direction, and would work with various stakeholders who rely on Symbology data assets to ensure their plans align with the direction of the group. Work would fall into the following areas:
Engaging with development and QA teams to help them understand the architecture and soliciting feedback from them to tune the systems to meet performance and functionality goals.
Participating in review sessions for internal governance and operational signoff for new systems and major upgrades.
Engaging with Technical Operations teams to work as the liaison when adding new infrastructure components to our Operations centres.
Participate in global teams, a flexible approach to working hours needed to permit communication across time zones.
Maintain a network of contacts with other Company technologists, keeping abreast of enterprise strategies and identifying the impact within the suite of systems under our control.
Qualifications
• 5+ years working experience in software development projects
• Bachelor Degree or higher in Computer Science or any related field.
• Wider interests in technology and a self starter with a strong aspiration for success.
• Strong communication skill in English.
• Excellent understanding of software engineering principles and object-oriented design.
• Demonstrated experience in all phases from requirement analysis to release of production quality systems
• Good solution provider with solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Extensive Experience with the Weblogic and Java preferably using Oracle BPM.
• Experience with Oracle Database Design.
• Good knowledge of Linux/Unix and hands on Environments Setup experience.
• Devleopment and Design Experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware and Business Process Modeller.
