LTE eNB System I&V engineer
Responsibilities
1.Analyze features, estimate test efforts
2.Design test plan, test cases and test scenarios
3.Integrate and verify features in a complex test setup
4.Trouble shoot SW bugs by proper pre-analysis of the faults, deliver traces and log files and verify the fixes delivered by development.
5.Cooperation with partners and customers for your testing area
6.Focus on LTE NodeB User Plane integration testing.
7.Entity verification includes review/analysis of L1/L2 or L3 feature specifications especially in MAC-PS, working out case design and execute in subsystem level release.
8.Release level core regression to make sure the high quality of RLC/MAC/PHY basic functionalities.
9.Defects investigation/reporting which includes cooperation with Dev HW/SW teams.
Requirements
1.Knowledge of or experience with cellular and broadband access technologies such as UMTS or LTE
2.Familiar with 3GPP protocols for LTE, such as 36.300, 36.331, 36.413, is plus
3.Knowledge of or experience with test tools like RF signal generators, protocol/spectrum analyzers
4.Self Motivated
5.Team player with positive mindset, open minded and willingness to learn
6.Excellent testing and troubleshooting skills
7.M. Sc, B Sc in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication, Computer Science or an equivalent degree.
8.At least 4+ years experience in SW/HW integration or system testing wireless radio access products
9.Technical knowledge of wireless technology (GSM/EDGE, WCDMA, WiMax or LTE)
10.Knowledge on LTE and LTE-A standardization (3GPP RAN);
11.Excellent knowledge of LTE RLC/MAC/PHY layer related work, including integration and testing.
12.Excellent knowledge of User Plane domain areas (layer 1 : PHY, layer 2 : MAC Scheduling)
13.Experience with test analysis, test case design and test execution.
14.Experience with subsystem or system testing and troubleshooting
15.Experience with test equipments & Tools: signal generators, spectrum analyzers, test mobile (TM500), protocol analyzer (NetHawk analyzer)
16.Experience with test automation is a plus
17.Good knowledge of Computer architectures, specially knowledge of DSP SW Architecture would be a big bonus.
