Program Manager
Report to Senior Program Manager
Location: Beijing, China

Responsibilities:

This Position is responsible for developing and managing hardware and software engineering program that support Polycom China product development.
1. Responsible for the cost, schedule, launch, and technical performance of product development.
2. Directs all phases of program(s) from inception through completion.
3. Organizes interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the program on schedule and within budget constraints.
4. Develops and coordinates program plans to meet business needs; is responsible for schedule, budget planning, cost control, applicable program support, and cross-departmental collaboration.
5. Coordinates and participates in technology project reviews. Coordinates proposal preparation,; establish milestones and drive execution.
6. Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Requirements:
1. BS degree, or higher, in computer science or related engineering field
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development. Requires strong technical skills and knowledge in software product development. Experience in embedded software development or hardware product development is a big plus. At least 2 years of experience in program management, at least independently managed 1 full lifecycle program
3. Must be self motivated, flexible, and willing to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
4. Must have excellent interpersonal skills. Experience in working with global cross-functional teams is a plus.
5. Good communication in both English and Mandarin, written and oral. Being able to lead meetings/discussions and present reports to native English speakers
