Brief Job Description/Qualifications:
The Recruiting Associate will help develop and implement PRTM’s recruiting strategy
for China, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews and building and
maintaining relationships with suppliers and educational institutions. The job holder will
also contribute to our global recruiting initiatives, and will coordinate closely with
colleagues in US and Europe as well as with the China team. Suitable candidates will be
educated to degree level. A minimum of five years of recruiting experience, ideally in a
management consulting or professional services company is required. Experience of
identifying recruits from multiple sources is essential. The ability to remain flexible
under varying deadlines and recruiting focuses is necessary. Proficiency in Microsoft
office products and a Human Resources Information System (HRIS) is also required.
Excellent communication skills (in both Mandarin and English) and strong organizational
skills are essential.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the development of the recruiting plans and the fulfillment of the recruiting
needs for consultants and internal operations staff in our offices in China by engaging
sourcing techniques including, but not limited to, sourcing calls, internet posting,
media advertising, university and business school recruitment, careers fairs, and using
recruitment consultants to successfully source, identify, attract, screen, conduct initial
phone/e-mail contacts, and facilitate candidates through the offer process.
• Conduct first screen of CVs to ensure match with PRTM’s requirements then
coordinate with recruiting directors responsible for CV screening to arrive at final
decision
• Coordinate logistics for phone and face to face interviews, conduct first interviews,
organize candidate pipeline processing, offer letters, tracking acceptances, processing
reference checks and following up on any issues, update HRIS database, maintain
accurate records of all candidates for tracking purposes and track candidate against
source, process steps and pursue/reject codes.
• Identify new and effective ways to recruit candidates
• Provide input to the development of recruitment literature and careers pages on
prtm.com
• Support additional Recruiting & HR initiatives as necessary.
