JOB TITLE: Technical Trainer
DEPARTMENT: Customer Support
REPORTING TO: Manager Customer Support AsiaPAC + ANZ
LOCATION:
Role description
As the Technical Trainer you will be responsible for providing training for a complex range of products to both external and internal customers. You are in direct contact with customers on an international basis, at various levels in their organizations, and will convey a positive and professional image of Irdeto Access and its products. Your main goal will be to provide effective and efficient training with the aim to reduce the levels of support required by customers while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Your technical skills and knowledge of Irdeto Access products will enable you to also provide technical support to customers throughout the APAC, Australia and New Zeeland
Primary responsibilities
Deliver technical training courses for a complex range of products to Irdeto external customers. (Content protection, digital broadcast, MPEG, DVB, IPTV and Mobile)
Deliver introductory through advanced trainings to Irdeto employees and partners
Design and develop technical training courses and material.
Provide Irdeto internal training and act as key contributor to the development of Customer Support Engineers. .
Plan, organize, and conduct training courses.
Additional responsibilities
Represent Customer Support for training issues and provides technical training assessments to support customers and Regional Support teams.
Interfaces and Authority
Reports to the Manager of CS AsiaPAC + ANZ
Irdeto external customers (technical and management levels)
Irdeto Sales, Operations and Engineering staff.
Knowledge & Skill requirements
University degree or equivalent in a related field.
Minimum 5+ years work experience in a similar training role.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Excellent English skills required both written and spoken
Other language skills are a definite advantage.
Experienced in creating technical training courses and materials.
Experience with Windows 2000/2003/2007 operating systems, Linux, TCPIP, networking and SQL databases.
Experience with digital broadcasting, mobile, MPEG-2, DVB and IP systems is a strong plus.
- Professional Training experience (5+ years)
- Excellent Presentation, Delivery and Coaching skills
- Web based training development and delivery experience
- Technical training background
- International experience

Working conditions
based in New Deli, India (potentially another APAC location) reporting to the Manager Customer Support AsiaPAC + ANZ.
Ability to work in a rapidly changing, highly dynamic, geographically dispersed environment.
Flexibility and tolerance for up to 50% international travel throughout the APAC+ANZ region and varied work hours and durations of assignments.
