To ensure the Quality management system is effectively implemented
Manage the audit process.
To provide effective means for resolving customer concerns and generate tools for improving customer service.
To provide effective means for identification and then permanent corrective actions of supplier concerns and generate tools for improving supplier performance.
To provide leadership and identify development opportunities and training needs in Quality engineering – methods and tools – making them available for departmental team to ensure the ability meet business needs and further personal development. Develop a succession plan for the staff within the department.
To provide Quality and technical assistance through the departmental team to company personnel as required.
To develop and manage the departmental budget and effectively implement controls where necessary.
To manage Standards engineering to provide a calibration service to all departments.
To ensure that health and Safety and Environmental requirements are understood by the department and adhered to by them and any contracted personnel.
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:
Quality target definition and deployment
Definition, coordination and controlling of the QM plan
Realization and controlling of advanced quality planning
Series production quality control
Kick off and control of corrective action
Handling of customer complaints
Record and control of quality cost
Preparation, coordination, control and certification of the QM system
Realization and control of quality improvement projects
QM review and QM report
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
Quality Engineering qualification
ISO 9001 - ISO/TS16949 certification experience
3 - 5 years' experience in quality management functions in multinational automotive companies. High volume manufacturing.
Strong leadership and influencing skill, team builder
Ability to drive growth with “can-do spirit”
Excellent execution skill
A good communicator with a proven track record of delivering tangible results through effective management and delegation
EADUCATION REQIREMENTS:
Degree level in mechanical or production engineering.
Fluent in spoken and written English (must be good)
