Qualifications: An accomplished and innovative individual with a Ph.D. degree in Pharmaceutics along with at least six years of hands on working experience (after obtaining Ph. D. degree) and/or at least 3 years of experience in project management. Alternately, an individual with a Masters degree in Pharmaceutics with at least eight to ten years hands on working experience with at least 3 years experience in project management. The candidate must have a demonstrated record of accomplishments in formulation development of solid and liquid oral dosage forms from initial phase to scale up for technical transfers. Additional experience with other dosage forms will be an added asset. Problem solving ability and adept handling of formulation teams is a must-have quality. Experience of working across cultures would be an added benefit.

Job Description – Senior Director/VP of Legal Affairs:
Oversee the entire range of legal services provided to the company, in such areas as securities, commercial, litigation, employment, environmental, intellectual property, and M&A.
Board Meetings and Committees - act as Board Secretary as well as executive contact for the Governance Committee. Ensure proper transparency and disclosure and the integrity of company information according to SEC guidelines. Foster best practices of corporate governance.
Manage all aspects of public securities compliance, including legal oversight of periodic filings, shareholder and investor communications and related securities matters.
Counsel business leaders of the company in all aspects of day to day corporate and business transactions, including reviewing and drafting contracts and other documentation.

Requirements:
A respected member of the legal and business community and a current or recent general counsel in a publicly traded company; or a next level seasoned in-house counsel in a larger organization; or a senior associate/junior partner at a reputable law firm
Law degree (JD) with 5+ years experience in private law firm practice
Reputation for honesty and integrity exemplified by a sterling character and high ethical standards
Experience in corporate and U.S. securities law

Medicinal Chemistry - Shanghai
We are currently looking for a Director-Level position of Medicinal Chemistry to lead multiple groups of medicinal chemists who are designing, preparing and optmizing small drug candidates drug candidates utilizing the modern tools of medicinal chemistry in lead optimization programs with our partner collaborations.The repsonsiblitilies include.
Spearheading partner programs and collaboration in multiple medicinal chemistry lead optimizaiton programs
Supervisory responsibilities for medicinal chemistry personnel and multiple programs on behalf of partner collaborations including the preparation of project reports and conducting tele- and video-conferences with collaborators
oversight and accountability of partner programs in medicinal chemistry including timeline management, program advancement, milestone achievement, and partner interactions,
insuring close collaboration, interactions, and integration with relevant internal and external functional areas (e.g. DMPK-ADMET, biology)
insuring appropriate IP protection on behalf of partners
involvement in departmental strategic planning

toxicology –
Principal Scientist / Director
As a Principal Scientist / Director for the In Vitro Toxicology group, you will lead a group in designing and executing in vitro toxicology assays for drug discovery projects and provide early warning for lead compounds with potential liabilities. Your team will closely interact with key scientists from the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies on cutting-edge drug discovery projects.
Your responsibilities will include validating in vitro toxicology assays addressing genotoxicity and organ-based toxicity issues from early stage compounds and providing early signs for potential liabilities. You will also work with multidisciplinary teams to provide in vitro toxicology support to drug discovery programs, conduct exploratory activities, and analyze and interpret the results. In addition, you will supervise and train lab scientists and prepare reports and present data at meetings.
The qualified candidate will have a Ph.D. in a related field with postdoc experience including working experience on toxicology assays and/or cell-based assays. Good presentation and writing skills in English are required. Overseas industrial discovery biology experience is preferred. This position is located in Shanghai, China.
