i was sopporting the position of uptair, not downstair, cause i just cannot agree with you at all

you appear to have prob getting out of the the formalist bits here and there, while missing out on the big picture. the chinese rich cultural history came a long way. if each generation acted like this, it would have stopped long time ago, it would not have to have waited this long.

the western military defeated the chinese not just militarily, the chinese "intellectuals" went from over confidence to lack of confidence.

but again, just by copying the old form does not get you back there because the times are different.

the big question to ask yourself, if you are there yet, is what is the real chinese spirit at core?

take your time there is a long way ahead of you. get rid off your attitude towards yourself you may actually get somewhere...or stay where you are as long as oyu are comfortable. it takes a while to grow up and get matured and i am hoping you will eventually get there

you may be able to fool a few out there, but try that to yourself is kind of merciless, unless you really believe what you are talking about, then whatever works for you works for you!
