ZRG Partners is a U.S. based global retained search firm with 12 years of operating history. The firm is regarded as one of North America’s fastest growing boutiques. ZRG operates globally with offices in the U.S., Canada, Europe and Asia Pacific. Searches were conducted last year in 11 different countries. based on client demand and receptivity of the firm’s unique value proposition with our clients, ZRG Partners has been experiencing exponential growth on a global level including in the Asia Pacific region This growth has translated into more searches and consulting assignments and therefore we are looking for a Research Associate to be based in Shanghai to help us get into the next phase of progress.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Identify and “map” potential candidates and business development targets within defined parameters through database and market research
• Provide accurate and confirmed contact information (phone, email, bios) for individuals using specified tools. Call and confirm office numbers as part of provided research
• Partner with the ZRG Leadership to support business development and recruiting activities to share market/candidate pool knowledge/ideas and to gain information/insight on business development and recruiting challenges
• Contribute actively to the start-up phase of searches by participating in client kick-off meetings with Managing Directors and assisting in the development of search strategies and target company lists
• Partner with Consultants throughout search processes to calibrate strategy and candidates, provide market reaction and track progress in the ZRG’s database (Bullhorn)
• Assess problems strategically and provide creative solutions
• Embrace and utilize technological advancements to increase efficiency in the search processes
The ideal candidate will bring the following skills and experiences to ZRG:
• Strong computer skills, e.g., MS Office, particularly Excel
• Attention to detail
• Unwavering pursuit of relevant information
• Flexibility and the ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills; display confidence in communicating ideas to others.
• Demonstrate a keen interest in people and talent acquisition.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree or above.
• English effectiveness written and verbal. CET-6
• Recruiting experience in either corporate or executive search context is preferred.
