Responsibilities
Source qualified targets based on Group’s business strategy and investment focus.
Evaluate potential targets for strategic investment, acquisition, joint venture, and business development deals, and assist in making proposals to the investment team and to the investment committee. .
Structure and execute deals, including modeling, due diligence, negotiations and closing. Able to lead small project when needed.
Conduct industry/sector research as needed; analyze market data, business trends and operating metrics to aid investment decision-making by senior management.
Introduce & coordinate business development opportunities for business units when necessary.
Monitor performance of portfolios and help solve problems, if any, between the portfolio companies and Group’s BU.
Requirements
Solid understanding of the Internet business models, and well connected in the industry.
Strong business sense and strategic thinker – able to see the “big picture” and identify issues and solutions.
Must have at least 2 years of deal experience, capable of deal due diligence, valuation & legal documents review.
Leadership potential, positive working attitude and good team working spirit.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to cope with pressure.
Attention to details. Need to get involved in the Company’s operating details
Flexible, able to adapt to and cope with fast changing environment.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English. Must read, write and speak fluent Mandarin Chinese, Bachelor degree or above, MBA or overseas background would be a plus.
