To develop, set, and maintain engineering standards, procedures, and job methods for Plants, and to manage the technical and engineering support team to deliver robust SHE and Plant performance
Key Accountabilities
1.Management of the engineering support team to deliver robust Plant operation and cost effective maintenance
2.Deliver compliance with engineering standards and regulations
3.Deliver continuous improvement in SHE and engineering performance
5.Work closely with the Site management organization to ensure that engineering performance is optimized
6.Respond to the AP Senior Upstream Engineer for compliance to standards
7.Engagement of external contractors and contracts
8.Maintain good working relationships with ES/TS/OSBL departments and external service providers/contractors for maintenance and systems support
10.Ensure daily work to meet J-SOX requirement.
11. Other tasks assigned by the Company.
Requirements:
•Equivalent to Mechanical Engineering Degree.
•Minimum 5 years experience of continuous, high hazard process plant operations, technical, plant maintenance, and manufacturing environment in related petrochemical or polymer industry.
•Fluent in both spoken and written English.
•Detailed knowledge of engineering standards and procedures
•Knowledge of and conformance to safe systems of work.
•Management of process, mechanical, instrument, and electrical personnel
•Ability to apply knowledge of engineering; design, construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance of process and plant equipment.
•Knowledge of SHE systems and procedures
•Specialised knowledge of continuous high hazard plant operations
