KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Planning and Budgeting

(i) Monitor HR related budget (including salaries, benefits, admin, system capital expenses and vendor fees) for Expat. and LHF in order to guide annual HR activities .

(ii) Monitor HR expenses for Expat. and LHF on monthly basis in order to ensure that expenses are controlled within annual budget.

People Management and Development

Balance the allocation of work across direct reports; review and provide timely performance feedback; mentor, develop and motivate direct reports in order to improve team performance and retain key talent.

Policies and Procedures

(i) Provide policy suggestions and advice to HR Manager in order to support the development of new *** China HR Policies of Expats and LHF.

(ii) Propose supplementary procedures/policies to *** China's policies for HR Manager's review in order to support HR Manager to maintain/update of *** Shanghai HR Policies for Expats and LHF.

On boarding Procedures

(i) Conduct on boarding process for Expat. in order to ensure the Expat. smoothly relocate to China

(ii) Conduct on boarding process for LHF in order to ensure the new LHF employee smoothly join ***.

(iii) Conduct one to one HR orientation to Expats. and LHFs in order to ensure the new joiner fully understand *** China HR Policies and Government Polices.

Compensation and Benefits

(i) Conduct monthly Expat. allowance payment in order to ensure the payment in time and correct.

(ii) Conduct monthly Expat. IIT review and payment in order to confirm the IIT is correct and in time to compliance with China labor law.

(iii) Conduct and review monthly LHF monthly allowance reimbursement (Housing / Education / Reloaction) in order to ensure the payment is correct and compliance with the offer/agreement .

(iv) Conduct annual survey for Expats and LHFs in order to ensure *** China Policies and benefits align with benchmark and keep competivived stage.

Employee Relationship/Communication

Prepare and deliver communications to Expats and LHF regarding HR policy changes and company updates; and review and analyze employees' HR-related suggestions in order to identify appropriate implementation/action plan and provide feedback to employees in a timely manner.

Project Management

(i) Support TE Shanghai HR projects for Expats and LHF, drive progress/ schedule, and resolve project issues in order to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of HR systems and ensure that the HR systems meet TE Shanghai's business expansion requirements.

(ii) Provide HR data and participate in other departments' project meetings in order to support TE Shanghai's functional and business project initiatives.

(iii) Coordinate and implement projects initiated by COE and Corporate HR projects in order to ensure alignment.

Administration

Manage various HR administration matters of TE Shanghai (Shanghai Branch) Expat. and LHF, including the:-

(i) application of work permits / Residence permit for LHF;

(ii) conduct employee's invitation letter and visa application;

(iii) Conduct mobility support for Expat. / LHF relocation);

in order to support TE Shanghai (Shanghai Branch)'s HR / business needs and ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations.





MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelor degree (HR major preferred)

2. 6 years HR experience in a MNC company (including at least 2 years Expat. manageme experience)

3. Fluent in English, communication and influencing skills, project management skills, proactive, leadership skills, political savvy, facilitation skills, stress management
