Position: Director of system test
Responsibility:
-Work with hardware and software development to ensure the overall product quality
-Establish and enhance QA infrastructure, including labs, tools and automation
-Build bug tracking and reporting system
-Manage sustaining engineering and escalation team to provide on-going customer support
-Develop test plans, create schedules, and manage release process
-Help hire and coach QA professionals
Requirements:
-Successful track record in establishing QA infrastructure and developing tools and automation
-5+ years of related industry experience with 3+ years in QA and 1+ years in managing role
-Extensive data networking (switching/routing) and protocol testing experience
-Experience in scripting language including shell scripts, perl, tcl, or python
-BA or BS, MS preferred
Desired but not required:
-Experience with installing, configuring and running bugzilla, mantis, or similar bug tracking system
-Experience with startup and work from scratch
-Experience in smartbits or similar performance tools
-Cisco or equivalent certifications
